Michael Lee has been going to science fiction conventions since high school, when he helped to organize the first weekend-long Doctor Who convention in Minnesota as a high school project. He has served as the head of programming for CONvergence in Minneapolis for five years, and has served another five years on the board of directors. He’s also served terms as President and Vice President of the parent organization of CONvergence as well as a variety of other roles in the organization. He has also helped with Arisia, Chicon 7, and Minicon, and has attended and participated in a number of other conventions, primarily in the upper midwest of the United States. He has a professional career in IT focused on enterprise cloud computing.
